The Wingfoil Race on Rügen

The Baltic resort of Binz on the island of Rügen will be the venue for a spectacular Wingfoil event for the first time. With a view of the 16 km long fine sandy beach of the Binzer Bay and the chalk cliffs in the background, the fastest wingfoilers from Northern Europe will compete for a total of 5,000 € in prize money.

In addition to the race, there will be an exciting supporting program and the Wingfoil Test Center.

Program

     Earliest possible arrival for vans/buses to the free parking lot

  • Friday 3.5.2023:
    Free training/test center/check-in, pasta party at Athletes Garden on the beach.
  • Saturday 4.5.2023:
    Check-in, race, test center, supporting program
  • Sunday 5.5.2023:
    Race, test center, supporting program, award ceremony

Entry fee

  • Adults: from 50 €
  • Teenagers u. 18 years: from 40 €

Requirements

  • Age: 8 – 99 years
  • Juveniles: Disclaimer / Declaration of consent of the parental reports.
  • Good swimming ability

    U18 participants can optionally start in the Open Class. Only one scoring class can be selected per participant.
